INITIAL ASSESSMENT

In the initial evaluation, your physical therapist will conduct a thorough evidence based exam of your mobility, strength, movement patterns, and activity specific impairments. You will receive a therapy diagnosis, prognosis, hands on treatment and an individualized exercise program to improve your symptoms.

MCKENZIE METHOD

The McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy enables you to take control of your pain and empowers you to return to the life you love as an athlete. This reliable assessment process is intended for all musculoskeletal problems, including pain in the back, neck and extremities (i.e., shoulder, knee, ankle etc.). It is also effective in the treatment of issues associated with sciatica, sacroiliac joint pain, arthritis, degenerative disc disease, muscle spasms and intermittent numbness in hands or feet. If you are suffering from any such issues, then a MDT assessment may be right for you.

DRY NEEDLING

Functional Dry Needling addresses muscle and nerve function by placing filiform needles strategically in tissues to address physical impairments, motor impairments and sensory experiences within a movement and neurological framework. Dry needling has been found to  decrease pain, reduce muscle trigger points, improve blood flow and restore normal biochemical levels in dysfunctional tissues.

SPORTS REHAB

Whether you are a climber, competitive athlete, weekend warrior, or fitness enthusiast, sports injuries are common and require special attention. Sprains, strains, and overuse injuries are some of the most common sports related injuries, however fractures, spine and nerve injuries can occur and might be overlooked. At All Terrain PT you will be thoroughly assessed for not only your aches and pains but also undergo a full body assessment to identify possible mobility limitations, muscle imbalances, weakness, inflexibility, and neural tension. Based on clinical findings you will be given a custom made and sport specific treatment plan.
